Community Guidelines
Effective October 20, 2026 · Version 1 · uWave Innovations LLC
Draft. This document has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer. Do not rely on it as final.
Zero tolerance. There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users in IAH Guru: Trading School.
Objectionable content is removed promptly and abusive users are removed. We aim to act on every report within 24 hours.
The study chat and public leaderboards only work if people feel safe. These guidelines apply to your display name, chat messages, friend codes, support messages and anything else you share through the App.
Be kind and keep it about learning
- Treat others with respect. Disagree about ideas, not about people.
- Stay on topic: trading concepts, lessons, practice results and questions.
- Beginners are welcome. Do not mock questions.
What is not allowed
| Not allowed | Examples |
|---|---|
| Harassment and bullying | Insults, threats, intimidation, repeated unwanted contact, encouraging others to pile on. |
| Hate and discrimination | Attacks on people for race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, caste, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age or similar traits; hate symbols. |
| Sexual content and nudity | Explicit or suggestive text, names or images; any sexual content involving minors (we report this to the authorities). |
| Violence, self-harm and dangerous acts | Threats, glorifying violence, encouraging self-harm. If you or someone is in danger, contact local emergency services. |
| Scams, spam and promotion | "Guaranteed profits", signal or tip services, paid groups, pump-and-dump schemes, referral spam, advertising, links of any kind (links are blocked), asking for or sending money. |
| Personal financial advice | Telling others exactly what to buy or sell, or asking for it. Share what you learned, not instructions. |
| Privacy violations | Posting someone's real name, contact details, accounts, location or private messages (doxxing). Do not share your own either. |
| Impersonation and deception | Pretending to be staff, an AI character, a professional or another user. |
| Illegal activity | Anything unlawful, including market manipulation, insider information and fraud. |
| Cheating and abuse of the App | Exploiting bugs, scripts or bots, fake accounts, manipulating scores or leaderboards, evading a ban. |
| Offensive names | Display names that break any rule above or contain contact details. |
How to report and block
- Press and hold a chat message.
- Choose Report message (we get the message and its author) or Block this user (you will no longer see their messages).
You can also write to us with details through the Customer Support form in the app (Preferences › Customer Support). Please do not reply to abusive people; report them instead.
What we do about it
- Filters. We block links, repeated characters, spam patterns and a list of banned words before a message is posted.
- Review. We review reports and remove messages that break these rules, usually within 24 hours.
- Actions. Depending on how serious or repeated the behavior is: removing the content, a warning, a temporary mute, removal from leaderboards, resetting scores or virtual items, or a permanent ban of the install.
- Serious cases. We may report illegal content, threats or child-safety concerns to the authorities.
- Appeals. If you think we made a mistake, write to us through the Customer Support form in the app (Preferences › Customer Support) and explain. We will take another look.
Your content, your responsibility
You are responsible for what you post. Chat messages are public to the room and are deleted from our servers after 24 hours, but others can still copy them. See the Privacy Policy and the Terms of Service.
